Urea phosphate includes two grade: Industrial grade and Food grade, normally used as fertilizer.
Urea phosphate is an organic compound of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and phosphorus. Its formula is CO(NH2)2·H3PO4. It is made by reacting urea with phosphoric acid.

【Chemical Properties】Colorless transparent prismatic crystal, M.P.: 117.3, easy soluble in water and its aqueous solution is acidic, PH(1% aqueous solution):1.89; Insoluble in aether, toluene, carbon tetrachloride.
【Applications of Urea Phosphate】
A. Agricultural Use:1. Feed additive; 2. High-effect fertilizer; 3. Antistaling agent
B. Industial use: 1. Flame retardant; 2. Cleaning agent; 3. Rust remover; 4. Antiseptics
C. In Fertilizer field: Urea phosphate is a kind of complex fertilizer of nitrogen and phosphorous with high concentration, most suitable for alkaline soil, which can increase the production of rice, wheat and cole. Owning to the decrease of PH value of soil, it can greatly reduce the losses of nitrogen. So urea phosphate is a high efficient complex fertilizer with excellent ability to keep nitrogen.
D. In Feed Field: Urea phosphate is an excellent feedstuff additive, providing two nutritive element of phosphor and non-protein nitrogen (ureic nitrogen), specially suitable for ruminant (cattle, horse and goat).It can slow down the release and transmission speed of nitrogen in hybrid rumen and blood of cattle and goat, with higher safety than Urea.
【Detail Fertilizer use of UP】
1.Used as an effective P fertilizer for application through drip irrigation systems in field soil.
2.While ammonia volatilization from urea fertilizer reduces N fertilizer efficiency by crops, UP releases ammonia slowly due to that the chemical bonds clench the N content.
3. It is characteristic pH controller for improving the condition of calcareous soil white fertilization, because of the low pH.
4. Added to blends which contain calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate to produce water-soluble formulas such as 15-5-15, 13-2-20, and 13-2-13. The acidity of urea phosphate allows Ca, Mg and P to co-exist in solution. Under less acidic conditions, there would be precipitation of Ca-Mg phosphates.
5. Used in drip irrigation to clean the pipe system.
